City Lifespacer is a long form played by Randy Dixon and Unexpected Productions when on tour in unfamiliar cities.
City Lifespacer is a piece inspired entirely by impressions caught during the day in a city. In a kind of collage, the relationships of the people of the city — along with their fears, hopes and dreams — are mirrored back from the visitor's perspective. Through personal observations and scene work, past, present and future of the host city are illuminated. From the individual fragments a complete picture suddenly emerges.
