  • It is often the conflict that makes a scene interesting.
  • For example, when the room is set up and the routines are established, thus the "foundations" are set, then something must happen: a quarrel between two people, an inner conflict, a pressing problem.
  • -Generally it is not sensible to begin a scene immediately with a quarrel, conflict, or problem (see: be positive).
