A voice preparation exercise. The group stands in a circle. The facilitator sets a beat and everyone joins in.
Three consonants are spoken as loudly as possible, without using the mouth to amplify — only the diaphragm:
'P! P! P!' (short, explosive)
'T! T! T!' (sharp, staccato)
'K! K! K!' (deep, guttural)
This strengthens the diaphragm and prepares the voice for projection.
