I Am a Tree

A popular exercise perfect for beginners. Players stand around the stage area. One enters, strikes a pose, and declares what they are: 'I am a tree!'

A second player adds to the image: 'I am a bird in the tree!' A third: 'I am the wind blowing through the tree!'

The first player chooses one element to keep, the others leave, and new players build a fresh image around the remaining element.

This trains spontaneity, physical offers, and group creativity.
