Players stand in a circle. A category is chosen (e.g. professions). One player says a word from that category to any other player — both remember their partner and their word.
The addressed player then says a different word to yet another player. This continues until everyone has been included once. The pattern is set.
Now the pattern is repeated — each player says the same word to the same person, in the same order. Once flowing smoothly, a second category is added simultaneously, creating two overlapping patterns.
