The Conscience
If you would like to pick a guideline here, then a suitable example is the relationship between two people.
Two players are now playing a scene. Two other players are now speaking the conscience of the respective players. These can stand in the open and use a microphone. However, it is better, they stand directly behind the particular player whose conscience they are and look over his shoulder. The conscience speaks directly to the player, comments and gives him instructions. The player can, but doesn't have to go with his conscience in a dialog.
It becomes interesting when the conscience stands opposite to the player's actions. So, for example, a couple can celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary, both compliment themselves and are happy about the successful relationship. The conscience of the player reveals, however, quite different thoughts. Perhaps she is just thinking of the errands that she must do the next day, or he is thinking of his mistress.
Variations
Every conscience player plays the conscience of one player at a time.
Both conscience players play both consciences of a player (one that is good, the other the evil conscience, so to speak angel and devil).
