Walking with Body Tension

Players walk around the room. The facilitator calls out numbers from -2 to +2, each representing a different level of body tension:

  • 0: Normal, relaxed body tension
  • +1: Slightly tense and stiff
  • -1: Loose and soft in the joints
  • +2: Very tense and rigid — walking becomes difficult
  • -2: Extremely loose and floppy — almost like being drunk

The facilitator mixes the levels freely, switching quickly between extremes. This exercise develops body awareness and helps players find different physical states for their characters.
