WORLD Impro ist die internationale Improvisationstheater-Reihe der Steifen Brise im monsun.theater. Die Steife Brise, Hamburgs stärkstes Improtheater, präsentiert ausländische Gäste aus der Improszene. Eine Liaison unter global agierenden Impro-Künstlern lädt das Publikum in englischer Sprache dazu ein, sich durch internationale Spiele bereichern zu lassen. Internationale Impro-Größen gemeinsam auf der Bühne mit Steife Brise SpielerInnen.

At second Glance – Auf den zweiten Blick:

Spring 2016. A Blind-Date of a special kind. An empty stage. Two persons. Nothing else. The Improve-Actors Antonio Vulpio and Nadine Antler, Steife Brise from Hamburg, met for the very first time in their lives and developed in front of the eyes of the audience two fictional lives clashing on to each other. Blindly both actors understood to fill honed life stories just with their ideas from each other. Now, autumn 2017, both actors got friends and know each other very well. They meet again on the empty stage and try to find out what will happen to a fictional Blind Date now. The audience will be taken on to this narrative journey.

Frühling 2016. Ein Blind-Date der besonderen Art. Eine leere Bühne. Zwei Personen. Nichts. Ohne sich jemals zuvor begegnet zu sein, entwickelten die beiden Impro-Darsteller Antonio Vulpio und Nadine Antler, Steife Brise aus Hamburg, zwei fiktive Leben, die sie im gemeinsamen Spiel aufeinanderprallen ließen. Sie verstanden es blindlings, Szene um Szene ihre Vorstellungen voneinander in fein geschliffene Lebensläufe zu füllen. Jetzt, anderthalb Jahre später, Antonio und Nadine sind Freunde geworden und kennen sich sehr gut. Sie treffen sich wieder auf der leeren Bühne und möchten den Zuschauer mit auf die Reise nehmen: Was passiert mit einem fiktionalen Blind Date, wenn man sich als Darsteller bereits sehr gut kennt?

Imagine: Every thirty second you find yourself in a new situation. That will happen to Antonio Vulpio, the guest of Steife Brise. He will be faced by the actors of the Steife Brise with all the time changing challenges. Will he maintain his position with flexibility and creativity? Or has he switch into a more aggressive way of behavior? How would you react?

Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie sind alle dreißig Sekunden mit einer neuen Situation konfrontiert. Das machen die Spieler der Steifen Brise mit ihrem Gast aus Italien, Antonio Vulpio. Kann er dem Takt des ständigen Wechsels Stand halten? Ist er flexibel und kreativ genug? Oder braucht er mehr Aggressivität dazu? Wie würden Sie reagieren?

About – Über Antonio Vulpio

Antonio Vulpio was drawn to improvisational theatre in 1996, and honed his technique through almost 20 years performing across Europe, the US, and Australia. Antonio is the artistic director of his company “Teatro a Molla” in Bologna, Italy. An accomplished actor, Antonio has worked in TV, short films, commercials, cabaret shows and radio announcing, and teaches improvisation focusing on the physical performer.

Antonio Vulpio tauchte 1996 in die Welt des Improvisationstheaters ein. Er verfeinerte seine Technik über 20 Jahre bei Auftritten in Europa, USA, Australien. Antonio ist der Künstlerische Leiter vom Teatro a Mollo in Bologna. Als vollendeter Darsteller durchlief er Stationen im TV, bei Kurzfilmen, Werbung, Kabarettshows und für das Radio. Er unterrichtet Improvisation mit dem Schwerpunkt auf die körperliche Darstellung.
