Das Impro-Format Drunk Classics kommt aus Madrid nach Berlin. In ihren Shows kombinieren sie einen klassischen Text, improvisierte Dialoge und Party. Das Publikum entscheidet wann die Spieler trinken müssen und damit wie besoffen die Classics werden.

In Berlin for the final little doors of your Advents Calender? Wondering where to continue your holiday drinking after all the Ryanair flights have taken your friends away? Longing for the classic Christmas tale of Scrooge and Marley but too lazy to stream a film version?

Never fear, there's a team of improvisers who're also stuck in Berlin and are ready and waiting to half remember this Christmas classic with you.

Drunk Classics is a semi-improvised show where improvisers re-create a classic story after reading it once. And to make it more difficult, they have to drink whenever the audience wants them to. One part improv, one-part original story, one part messy meta-commentary and all parts party. This version of this format, with lots of borrowed inspiration from Drunk Shakespeare, was created by Jackie Koester and Summer Banks in Madrid in 2017 where they're now in the middle of their second season (Sound of Music and Hamlet and Pride and Predjudice Oh My!). They toured it to Boom Chicago in Amsterdam over the summer and are thrilled to bring it to Berlin for the end of 2018.
