Improvisation meets Acting: A course for Performers

This Course is designed for advanced improvisers, which would like to enhance their acting skills.
In exercises focus on the Connection of Acting and Improv. Through combination the Acting Technique of Sanford Meisner and Viola Spolins improvisational exercises, we'll work on our ability to listen to our partners and react in the moment in order to generate vivid Scenes. We'll dive deep into emotions to find and create believable characters and authentic relationships.

Hendrik Martz has been acting since the age of nine, did television work for over 20 years and is one of the few coaches who works with improv and formal actors and constantly experiments with bringing the disciplines together. With his colleague he runs the Nowhere Academy offering a two year training in improv and acting. At VHS Friedrichshain-Kreuberg he teaches Acting, Personality Development and Communication.
