Improv Lab with Rice Cookie

Join this Improv workshop for an evening filled with fun and laughter. Meet new people and open yourself to new challenges.

WHAT IS THE WORKSHOP ALL ABOUT?
You have the opportunity to learn the basic principles of improvisational theatre, to experience various improv games and exercises that support your creativity, spontaneity, and skills to cope with unexpected situations.

HOW DOES THE WORKSHOP LOOK LIKE?
You don't need any acting/stage experience to join us. There will be a long and very fun warming up at the beginning of the workshop, that will get us in the mood for the main part which is consisted of various games and scenes that will improve our verbal skills (storytelling, character development, supporting your partner, coming up with ideas and offers…) and non-verbal skills (working with objects and environment, expressing emotions and attitudes with our bodies). The end of the workshop is reserved for memory circle, one of our favorite parts of the workshop where we remind ourselves of various moments during the workshop.

The workshop is in English and you only need enough English to understand the instructions. Even if English is not your strong point – no worries – body language is equally important. :)

BUT WHO ARE YOU, PEOPLE?
We are a group of improv enthusiasts who enjoy doing improv. We are coming from all over the world and we see the beauty in sharing our knowledge and skills with others.

CORONA REGULATIONS
Legally we need to give the authorities the contact information of every attendee up to 4 weeks after the workshop in case there is a suspicious respiratory disease. so we are asking everyone to join the attendee list on meetup.
