Do Not Adjust Your Stage

Do Not Adjust Your Stage are an improvised comedy group based in London, UK. They create spontaneous comedy theatre, inspired by our audience. Their current format is the Wunderkammer. in which they take inspiration for improvised scenes from the passions and knowledge of leading experts, academics, curators and all-round huge brains to create improvised comedy scenes, stories and characters. Previous speakers have included cell biologist from King’s College, a bubble scientist from the National Physical Laboratory, a Cornish hip-hop guru, Cambridge University's sexiest astrophysicist, a Government economist, and a Guinness World Record holder! Since forming in 2010, they have performed regularly across London, the UK and Europe. They have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Barcelona Improv Festival, Improv Festival Ireland, Slapdash International Festival, Manchester Comedy Festival, Open City Docs Fest, Sheffield Student Comedy Festival and in London's West End for ImproFest UK. DNAYS performed to a sell-out audience at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York for the Del Close Marathon in June 2014. They are also a partner group for the International Improv Experience at The Hideout Theatre, Austin, Texas and in 2014 were crowned champions of C3Something's Improv 5-a-side Grand Final. The cast has trained with some of the world's best improvisers, including Charna Halpern, Jet Eveleth and Lyndsay Hailey (ImprovOlympic, Chicago), Mark Beltzman (iO), Susan Messing (iO, Annoyance), Shannon O'Neill, Abra Tabak and Alan Starzinski (Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, New York), Al Samuels (Baby Wants Candy), David Shore (Second City, iO West), and Steve Roe (Hoopla).
