Conflict

Version 3 (von improwiki, 22.02.2019 14:35)

It is often the conflict that makes a scene interesting.

For example, when the room is set up and the routines are established, thus the "foundations" are set, then something must happen: a quarrel between two people, an inner conflict, a pressing problem.

Generally, it is not sensible to begin a scene immediately with a quarrel, conflict, or problem (see: be positive).

Because then the characters, the location, the relationships are still not clear, with the result that the conflict has no foundation.
