Copenhagen International Improv Festival

After a hectic year, with traveling around Europe, LA and Chicago – The Copenhagen International IMPRO Festival, have decided to put their focus on Longform Improv Comedy, as the Artform created by Charna Halpern and Del Close, and origins from the iO Theater in Chicago.

We’ve had more than 22 applications from teams in October, so submit your team now, to make sure you can get a spot!

The CIIF Staff now focuses on putting together, the strongest programme regarding the best teachers from USA, and the best teams from all over the world to come and participate and perform at our Festival.

Main programme:
In 2015 – The main event will take place in the Easter holidays from March 30-April 10th. And we plan to have more than 200 students and performers gathered for what will be an awesome lifetime experience, with lots of love, networking and playfulness.

There will be intensive classes as follows:
5 days Advanced 2 person scenework (18 people)
Advanced Longform (Group creates and performs with the form they create) (18 people)
Harold Week (iO teachers) (18 people)
2 x Special Teacher week intensives (18 people, the Teachers will be announced in December)
Improvised Shakespeare (18 people, the Teacher will be announced in December)

Besides the Main week, there will be a month intensive (similar to the iO Summer intensive)
It will be Monday – Friday from March 30th – April 26th.
