The Blue Door Theatre

The Blue Door Theatre has been entertaining Spokane since 1996. As an organization, we are dedicated to the advancement of improvisation, the performing arts, and community building through innovative entertainment and education.

We perform short and long form shows on Friday and Saturday nights. We have shows that contain adult content and other shows that are for general audiences.

Along with our shows, we operate the Spokane School of Improv and the Yes, And Art Gallery. Through our school, we teach performance and applied improv. We teach improv in our local high schools to engage youth in the art of improv and to build their confidence, express their creativity, and trust their own voice. We also provide classes at Airway Heights Correctional Center for incarcerated individuals so they have a safe place to be themselves, explore their imaginations, and connect with others.
