The players are standing in a close circle with their eyes closed or all of them are looking at the ground. Now the group counts up to 21. Spontaneously, any player can say the next higher number, there is no given order of the players. It can happen that the numbers are said shortly after each other, but there may also be a longer pause in speaking. If two or more players say the same number at the same time, you have to start again at one.
This warm-up game serves to sharpen the concentration and find a feeling for the members of the group.
Instead of using numbers, the exercise can also be played with letters. Then spell from A to Z, or until each player has said a letter.
